Chi Force has enjoyed working within a variety of Leeds Primary Foundation Trust (formerly Leeds Mental Health Trust) offices across Leeds for the last 5 years. In this time numerous members of staff within the PFT trust have had the chance to try many of the complementary therapy treatments on offer in the convenience of their own workplace.
Staff at Trust HQ, The Becklin centre, The Mount and St.Mary’s House have all had the opportunity to experience the benefits this visiting service can provide.
Treatments on offer include Reflexology, Acupressure Chair Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and E.F.T which can all be provided easily in a workplace situation without the need to remove clothing.
Some clients come purely for stress management others will choose to target individual health issues, with treatments carefully chosen to suit them, following a brief consultation. Treatments can be so deeply relaxing that some clients are able to completely drift away, whilst for others there is a noticeable reduction in pain, tension and stress levels.
Staff within the Primary Foundation Trust have chosen to have appointments lasting either half an hour or an hour. People choosing the hourly appointments often like to receive a couple of therapies within that time, for instance Reflexology and Indian head massage. These two therapies, which combine well together, provide a fantastic opportunity to unwind top to toe whilst improving health.
